There are not enough historical horror films. Certainly not nearly enough set in the late middle ages.

Dubbed anime sounds like a recording of a cold table read by high school students. We don’t dub any other foreign language media, why this?

Just so we’re all on the same page, revenge movies are now obsolete, thanks to “I Saw the Devil”, and I am not sure you should watch it.
Wonderful. A low grade fever means I can’t hold my daughter for at least 48 hours & my wife will be doomed to a couple of sleepless nights.
Lake Mungo is the best horror film I’ve seen in a long time. Honest, eerie, subtle, and clever with reserved, heartbreaking performances.

My recent google search history is a hilarious record of new parent anxieties.
Morning visit to the NICU. Rivka is doing awesome. She breastfed ahead of schedule for a 33 weeker. Her mother’s daughter, for sure.
Things I am suddenly an expert in: Misreading medical monitors. Extracting the last drops of milk from the pump. Sleeping 10 min at a time.
I tried to surreptitiously take a picture of the adorable 14 year old thug drinking a 40 on the bus… and the flash went off.
